2026 marks a reset for ISEKAIYA.
Over the past few months, we’ve rebuilt the ISEKAIYA website from the ground up using the same technology stack that powers Tsukicon. The result is a faster, cleaner, and more flexible experience, designed to work better across devices and scale with us as we grow. This new system gives us room to move beyond what we’ve been able to do in the past, while offering a smoother experience in both function and form. One of the biggest changes is how we handle events. We’re introducing a new ticketing and event pass system built with long-term integration in mind. This lays the groundwork for a future mobile app and shared event infrastructure between IZAKAYA and ISEKAIYA. Connecting events, passes, and experiences across brands. The goal is simple: make everything feel more seamless, not just online, but in person and from afar.
As we move into the new year, ISEKAIYA is expanding beyond a single location. We’ll be traveling with the brand, collaborating with established venues, artists, and known names across the industry to deliver larger, more intentional events outside of Ohio. This next phase is about connection. Linking scenes, communities, and cultures under the same signal. We have a lot planned. From regional collaborations to multi-city activations, our focus is on building experiences that feel cohesive no matter where they happen. ISEKAIYA has always been about creating space for culture after dark, and as we grow, that space won’t be limited by geography. We’re excited to share ISEKAIYA across the country... and eventually, beyond it.
Merch is another area we know many of you have been waiting on. Restocks and new items have taken longer than we wanted, but that time has been intentional. We’ve been working behind the scenes to find artists and suppliers who can deliver the level of quality we expect. We don’t want to sell fast merch... We want to sell pieces that feel considered, wearable, and built to last. We’re excited to say we’ve found partners who can bring that vision to life, with more details coming soon.
Finally, a quick note on what’s ahead with Tsukicon. This year will also see the debut of KYOSAI at the Levitt Pavilion. An ambitious outdoor undertaking that connects music, culture, and community in a new way. It’s a major project, and we’ll be sharing more details soon, but it’s an important part of how these worlds continue to overlap.
New year. New system. Same intent.
ISEKAIYA is moving forward...
